We are finally getting back to a routine and one of the most important parts of that in our family is a weekly meal plan. My four kids have immensely varied palates and trying to accommodate them all wears me out. So, each child is required to plan one meal per week; I also ask my husband to do the same. That means I only have to plan one meal per week because I plan one night for leftovers or take-out.
We have had a great deal of upheaval in our lives the past 6 months or so. As such, some of my standards have gone by the wayside! There is more processed food in our weekly meals than before, but I’m alright with that for now. Also, the 8-year-old is quite picky, so when you see a constant rotation of spaghetti, fettuccine alfredo, and mac & cheese, you’ll know who picked that night’s meal!
