This is me in a nutshell:

• My name is Glynis.
• I was born and raised in rural northwest Missouri.
• I love Jesus.
• While growing up, I would talk to my friends about how I would employ a full-time nanny when I had children. Laughable now, as I have stayed home since having my first child and barely have a babysitter, let alone a nanny!
• I have a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Exercise Science from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK.
• I have been to Haiti twice on short-term mission trips.
• My husband is also from northwest Missouri; we’ve been married since 1999.
• Both my husband and I received our master’s degrees from Wichita State University. My degree is in Public Administration with a Public Finance concentration and his in Sport Management.
• My first child, a boy, was born in 2006. Another boy followed in 2008; the only girl arrived in 2011. I said that we were finished and sold all of the baby gear. Of course, that meant that we had another baby shortly after. Our final baby boy joined us in 2013.
• We homeschool.
• I am the youngest of 5 kids and have the best mother on the planet as a role model.
• The kids and I have a slight obsession with Chick-Fil-A.
• I have a love-hate relationship with Amazon.
• I am a wanna-be crafter, but lack patience to successfully complete most projects.
• We desperately need to get a new family photo taken.
