May the 4th be with you

Any other last-minute mommas out there? Tomorrow is May the 4th, so naturally, I’ve waited until this evening to start planning our Star Wars themed dinner. If you need some ideas, I would start at this fabulous blog I stumbled across – Geeks Who Eat.

We have decided that Thermal Detonators will definitely be our dinner entree.

We’re going to take it easy and go with Darth Vader Tots for a side dish. The Star Wars Mom not only has free printable signs for the tots but many other themed recipes and ideas.

I like to have fruit and vegetables with dinner so our fruit will come in the form of lightsabers. Crafts Unleashed provides a great tutorial for this! Seriously. How awesome do these look?

Our veggie platter plans are inspired by Kitchen Fun with my 3 Sons. I’m going to use different vegetables to tailor it to my children’s preferences but will keep the design of Boba Fett’s mask.

No Star Wars dinner would be complete without Wookie Cookies! Check out these cute Chewbaccas from Nifty Spoon.
